First of all it is most nescessary to know the
meaning and concept of "Jehad".The meaning of jehad is effort or fight.The concept of jehad is to fight for
and in the way of "Allah" ( Almighty God ),with money , words ,deed ,or in battle ground. The first decree for jehad
was given by God to the prophet at the time of prophet David in the fight of Geleot.During the time of Jesus Crist this decree
of jehad was revoked by God . Again at the time of prophet Mohammed the decree of jehad was given with the words that is 100
of you will fight in the way of God,you will be helped by 1000 angels . All the wars fought at the time of Hazrat Mohammed
were of course "Jehad".After the death of Hazrat Mohammed, very few qualify to be called "Jehad".only the last known Jehad
was fought by Imam Husain (A.S) , the grand son of Prophet Mohammed (A.S),at Karbala in Iraq, there after 99% of the
fights were for the sake of power fought by kings or dictators ,but labelled as jehad,just to justify there misdeeds or to
arouse the emotions of largly illiterate but religious muslims.
The latest example is that of dictator Saddam Husain,a nonreligious tyrant who killed thousands of innocent and
religious muslims of his own country , but when he fought against muslim Iran and Kuwait and later on with U.S.and allied
forces st
his propaganda machinery started shouting it jehad. Another example of how the kings and dictators misuse words for their
own sake is " servant of two holi mosque " used by king Khalid, a well known drukard and gambler to cheat his innocent,religious
but illiterate people.
